TruSeal™ Adhesive Housings
The TruSeal Adhesive Housing adheres directly to the skin and can support all types of tracheostoma components, including the ATSV, the HumidiFilter Holder (for finger occlusion) and Shower Guard. This all-in-one design eliminates the need for a Valve Housing, Foam or Tape Disc and Glue. One step application makes this Adhesive Housing easy to adhere and remove. Both the five pack and twenty pack include samples of Shield Skin® and Skin Prep® brand Protective Skin Barriers.
Barton-Mayo Tracheostoma Button Rx Required
Developed in association with the Mayo Clinic to provide leak proof tracheostoma valve retention
for near-total laryngectomy and total laryngectomy patients. Compatible with Blom-Singer Adjustable
Tracheostoma Valve.
- Allows for “hands-free” stomal occlusion and prosthetic voicing.
- Self-sealing design requires no skin adhesives.
- Wide range of sizes available for optimum fit.
- Reduces stoma contraction.
Patient Sizing
Fitting of the Barton-Mayo Tracheostoma Button to the individual patient’s stoma is critical. Proper sealing of the button is achieved by correctly positioning the inner lip of the button in the stoma.
Button size is based on stoma diameter, depth, and angle. To facilitate the sizing procedure, a sizing kit is available to clinicians.
The manufacturer recommends a steam autoclave cycle sterilization procedure at 270 0 F for five minutes. This is normally followed by a drying cycle.

Shield Skin®
Provides a clear, protective, plasticized barrier between skin and external devices. Helps tape and film adhesion. Water-resistant and non-staining. Available in a 2 oz. spray bottle or in a box of 50 wipes.
Alcohol Prep Pads
Assists Laryngectomee in complete cleansing routine. Removes oils from skin, ideal for preparation of stoma area for the attachment of Tracheostoma products, such as the ATSV and HumidiFilter.
Skin-Prep®
Effective topical barrier between skin and external devices. Helps tape and film adhesion. Available in a box of 50 wipes. Non-irritating.
Blom-Singer Silicone Adhesive
Safely attaches adhesive foam and tape discs to skin. Easily removed with Remove. Available in a 2 oz. bottle with brush cap.
Blom-Singer Tracheostoma Valve Housings
When used with adhesive foam and tape discs, these housings hold the ATSV, HumidiFilter Holder or Shower guard in place against the stoma area. They are available in two diameters: standard and large.
Blom-Singer Adhesive Discs
A variety of double-sided adhesive foam and tape discs are available to provide the best attachment to the stoma area.
Adhesive Tape Discs
Adhesive Foam and Tape Disc Sampler Pack
Allows the laryngectomee to sample five of each of the various styles of discs mentioned above. Highly recommended as an opportunity to try the best combination of products.
Remove®
Universal adhesive Remove wipe is ideal for removing glue from around the stoma when changing the attachments for the ATSV, HumidiFilter Holder or Shower Guard.
